Our client is a verified federal contractor of the U.S. government and large hospital systems for biohazard waste. It is the fastest growing company in the medical waste industry, with a network of treatment facilities and transfer stations across the country. Their service includes the disposal of medical waste, such as syringes and surgical equipment, as well as the cleaning and sterilization of trash containers.

Because our client provides services that help hospitals meet health and safety protocols to protect staff, patients, and visitors, maintaining an active workforce is critical. As the company experienced workforce issues like poor attendance and unmet performance expectations, they turned to our staffing app, JobStack, to overcome their challenges.

With JobStack, managers enjoy 24/7 access to their staffing orders, where they can request additional staff at the last minute, rate workers, and invite their favorite workers back. The app allows companies to maintain high-quality service, even during unexpected absences or surges in demand.

Our client started by using JobStack to request just one worker and were so pleased with the worker’s performance that they requested two more workers to serve on a long-term basis. All three individuals were eventually converted to full-time employees.

Our client is a global biopharmaceutical leader committed to improving the lives of people living with severe neurological and immunological conditions. The company is powered by 9,000 people from its headquarters in Belgium and across nearly 40 countries worldwide.

When our client established a new production center in Belgium, they sought to attract and engage qualified industry professionals in the area. They partnered with the talent advisors at TrueBlue on a project that would build employer brand awareness and amplify talent attraction efforts in the region.

We developed a series of films, recruitment marketing materials and channel strategies targeting qualified candidates for 20 niche, hard-to-fill roles, including process engineers, microbiology lab specialists, and biomedical research and development specialists. All materials were delivered in the French language. Campaign assets could be leveraged to develop a talent pipeline for up to 60 roles over the span of a few years, providing additional value beyond the scope of the project.

Studies show that the simple act of expressing gratitude has a ripple effect, affecting not only the grateful person and the recipient, but anyone who witnesses it. Introduce this chain reaction on a grand scale, and the effects become exponential. 

We applied this “science of thanks” to engage employees and attract talent for King’s College National Health Service (NHS) Foundation Trust, one of the busiest NHS trusts in the UK. 

We developed a larger-than-life employee engagement campaign that would recognize employees, capture the attention of candidates, and showcase the Trust’s values. 

We captured images of 166 clinical and non-clinical staff members at all King‘s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust sites and collected 350 employee-submitted messages of thanks. Then, we plastered large-scale installations across Kings’ three main sites, including a huge projection onto the outside of the hospital at their central location. 

The campaign inspired renewed feelings of inclusion and engagement among staff and there was a sharp increase in recognition.

Our client is ranked among top pediatric hospitals and is home to the world’s largest pediatric research facility. With over 40 clinical departments and more than 250 specialized clinical programs, the not-for-profit organization provides a complete range of care services for children of all ages.

Our client was looking to improve their candidate screening processes for clinical housekeepers, admissions, and customer service staff.

We deployed a recruiting program in which we worked closely with the client’s internal HR team, using their niche healthcare HR technology, to screen and present candidates who possessed the right mixture of hard and soft skills to ensure each potential hire was the right cultural fit for the organization.

At a pediatric hospital, everyone from clinical staff to housekeepers interacts with children suffering from illnesses and their families, and our recruitment team screened candidates carefully, looking for compassion, empathy, and the ability to work well with children.
