Taryn Owen
President and Chief Executive Officer
Taryn Owen is President and Chief Executive Officer of TrueBlue. She assumed the CEO role in September 2023 after serving as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2022.
With more than 25 years of experience in human capital management, Ms. Owen brings deep expertise in talent acquisition, workforce strategy, and operational transformation. She has led large-scale digital initiatives, strengthened client experience and retention, and driven strategic revenue and profit growth across TrueBlue’s global business. Known for building high-performing teams and developing leaders, she has also played a key role in shaping the company’s culture and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Owen served as President and Chief Operating Officer of PeopleReady, where she advanced its digital transformation and modernized delivery models to accelerate growth. She also spent more than a decade in leadership roles at PeopleScout, overseeing global expansion and managing high-volume recruitment operations across multiple markets. Before joining TrueBlue, she led global RPO engagements at Randstad Sourceright.
Ms. Owen is a member of TrueBlue’s Board of Directors and has served on several industry advisory boards. She has been widely recognized for her leadership, including annual appearances on Staffing Industry Analysts’ Staffing 100 and Global Power 150.
